When Cordon Electric took on the Franklin High School project, they needed reliable Revit modeling and BIM coordination support across the entire electrical scope, from underground infrastructure to rooftop systems.
They were also navigating a new working relationship with an unfamiliar general contractor.
Additionally, it was only Senior Project Manager Emmanuel Cruz’s second experience with BIM coordination.
- Project Goals
As work progressed on Franklin High School, Cordon Electric needed a dependable BIM coordination partner to support the project’s electrical systems, from conduit and cable tray layouts to lighting, panels, equipment, and low-voltage systems.
With regular coordination meetings, coordination drawings, and Navisworks exports, they needed a partner that could maintain alignment and move smoothly through the coordination process.
Solutions
ATG partnered with Cordon Electric through a fixed-fee Construction Services engagement, providing end-to-end BIM coordination and Revit modeling support.
Backed by a dedicated team that included Liv Mounsey (Construction Services Revenue Manager), Tres Rowland (Client Success Specialist), Tasanee Durrett (Construction Manager), Brady Thompson (Account Manager), Maritza Venegas (Technical Specialist), and Quentin Worm (Technical Specialist), ATG helped coordinate and model electrical systems across underground, floor-level, vertical riser, and rooftop scopes.
Through weekly coordination meetings, detailed drawings, and timely project deliverables, the team maintained clear communication and helped keep coordination efforts on track from start to finish.

Cordon Electric awarded ATG a perfect 10/10 rating for both work quality and communication, citing the team’s responsiveness and willingness to provide the information needed to keep the project moving forward.
