With the introduction of ArcGIS Online (AGOL) and ArcGIS Pro, organizations can now publish and share data from anywhere. With more people than ever working from home, the need for an online web app for shareable content is more important than ever. This is more than just a cloud sharing portal; it’s using ESRI web apps contained within AGOL to view, manage and maintain your datasets from anywhere with an internet connection. In this blog, I’ll show a simple way to take a shapefile and publish it to AGOL for our organization to use as a centralized home for data.
