New DiRoots Updates for September 2026
Check out the latest DiRoots updates – packed with new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for DiRootsOne.
✔️New Features
[Hide in Views] New Tool!: Hide or unhide selected elements or their categories across multiple views at once.
[SheetLink]: Dropdowns in exported Excel files and Preview/Edit: You can now select from a list of available values. Supported parameters include Materials, Phases, Levels, Worksets, View Templates, Detail Level, Export to IFC, and many more.
[QuickViews]: Cardinal Directions: Created views can now be named using cardinal and intercardinal directions (North, South, Northwest, etc.), with the ability to customize the labels.
[Reordering]: New “Reset Count on parameter change” option: Restart numbering when a grouping parameter (e.g., Level) changes.
✨Enhancements
[SheetGen]: Support for Sheet Collections: In Revit 2025+, create and duplicate sheets with the same number across different collections.
[TableGen]: Excel “Format as Table” styles are now imported: TableGen now imports Excel tables with their applied table style, including cell backgrounds, borders, and text styles.
[TableGen]: Preserve Revit image adjustments: Refresh with “Update (data only)” without losing image size or position changes made in Revit.
[TableGen]: More accurate out-of-date status: Out-of-date status now distinguishes Schedule changes from Legend and Drafting view changes.
[QuickViews]: Intercardinal start directions: Choose NE, SE, SW, or NW as the Start Direction.
[ReOrdering]: Add support for reordering Detail Numbers on Views: ReOrdering now handles Revit’s “Detail Number is already in use” warning.
[OneParameter]: Clear parameter values more easily: Use the new “Not empty” filter mode to target elements with a value; “Clear New Values” is now “Clear Values”.
🐜Bug Fixes
[SheetLink]: The Text format was applied one column to the right, losing leading zeros; overwriting a file also no longer leaves numbers stored as text.
[SheetLink]: The title row kept its old width after overwriting an export with fewer parameters.
[SheetLink]: An error occurred when opening SheetLink on Revit 2027.2 with Kiwicodes Bonus Tools installed.
[SheetGen]: An object-reference error occurred when changing views in certain models.
[PanelLink]: Panel Schedules failed to export in certain models. Also fixed image sizes and positions in exports, exports continuing after cancelling the save dialog, and filenames with slashes creating subfolders.
[OneParameter]: An “item with the same key has already been added” error occurred when opening models with duplicate subcategory names.
[ParaManager]: Revit crashed when importing an Excel file in the Families module.
