Meet the Team- Tim Duncan & Scott Pruitt 

 

Welcome to this week’s edition of Meet the Team Monday. Last week we introduced you to ATG USA’s Inside Sales Managers. In the spirit of unity, we are working hard during this exciting time to help you get acquainted with members from both ATG WEST and ATG Headquarters. While our technical support and services are expanding, our first priority, as always, is providing our valued clients with outstanding customer service. This week, we would like to introduce you to ATG Headquarters Team Augmentation Leader, Scott Pruitt, along with ATG West Director of Professional Services, Tim Duncan.

Tim Duncan, Director of Professional Services, ATG West

Tim grew up in Denver, Colorado and spent three years living in Brazil before moving to Arizona to attend College. Tim and his wife Lisa just celebrated their 12-year wedding anniversary. Together they have 5 children. He earned his degree in Architecture at the University of Arizona and registration a few years later. After graduating college, Tim became the CAD Manager for a local Phoenix firm and later for a division of Flour Daniel. He started CADsoft Consulting to address that need in 1991 and has been successful ever since, growing to 30 -plus staff and generating $12m in annual revenue.
What do you want ATG West and ATG Headquarters customers to know about this new acquisition?
One of the keys to CADsoft Consulting’s success over the past 27 years has been our focus on customers. It is for this reason that we have become a trusted partner to our customers and a highly respected Platinum tier provider of Autodesk solutions. With ATG USA’s exceptional customer service and commitment to delivering positive business outcomes, we are excited to be a part of their team. Together, as one, our company is ready to handle all of our customer’s design and engineering needs.

What are you most excited about with ATG USA acquiring CADsoft Consulting?

My professional passion has always been towards providing outcomes to our customers to solve specific business challenges. In my new role as Director of Professional Services, I look forward to helping our customers achieve more outcomes engineered to drive their success.

What strengths do you see the ATG West team members bringing to the table?

All members of the ATG West team are committed to providing a high level of customer service and professional commitment to excellence. These strengths are also the cornerstone of ATG’s success. To borrow our marketing statement, I feel we are truly better together.

Tell us what kind of good things you see in the future for ATG USA?

A dedicated focus to providing relevant, timely and affordable services to help our customers be more successful.

What are the most pressing issues you’ve seen your customers experience over the years and how can ATG USA help with those?

The great recession rocked the construction industry and spurred a mass exodus of workers at all levels. Many AEC firms are stymied by a shortage of experiences professionals. This shortage of talent provides an awesome opportunity for us to help close skill gaps, and augment their teams though outsourcing job responsibilities and or production. The coming years will be very exciting at ATG for Professional Services. We are all on the ground floor of something that will become big and I am extremely excited to be taking this journey with all of you and look forward to celebrating our successes in the months and years to come.

 

Scott Pruitt, Team Augmentation Leader, ATG Headquarters

I received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arkansas Fay Jones School of Architecture in 1995. After working in Chicago for several years I moved home to Central Arkansas, eventually establishing my own architectural practice focusing on historic preservation, adaptive reuse and custom Single family residential. I am married to an architect and we have three wonderful kids that take up most of our free time.

What does your day-to-day role at ATG look like?

No two days are ever the same! Typically it is a mix of working with the sales team to scope and price our Team Augmentation services, managing our Team Augmentation staff as they produce results for our customers and rolling up my sleeves to assist in production when the need arises.

What do you like most about working for ATG USA?
The fact that I get to work with AEC firms all over the country, having access to the latest and greatest Autodesk products, 3DR UAVs, Leica P40 laser scanner and all the other geeky tech stuff out there.

What are the most pressing issues you’ve seen your customer experience over the years and how can ATG USA help with those?

Staying current with software releases, understanding and implementing the new tools within these releases, creating and/or maintaining templates and BIM standards, and the issues relating to “staffing up” to complete projects when the need arises. ATG provides solutions for these issues by offering webinars, instructor led training, Global eTraining, Revit template creation and maintenance, and Team Augmentation to help our customers temporarily scale their production bandwidth on an as needed basis.

Summarize how team augmentation works with the customer to meet their AEC needs.

Team Augmentation allows customers to utilize our teams knowledge and experience with both the software and it’s practical application within industry. Our team is currently made up of licensed architects, Engineering degree holders, and Revit and AutoCAD specialists with experience in the AEC fields. Our diverse industry experience allows us to not only aid our customers in the last minute push to complete a project with their existing team, but also act as an independent “remote” production team capable of developing and delivering projects currently in any stage of development to a completed product matching the customers standards. We utilize Collaboration for Revit, BIM360 Team, and several other online collaboration methods as part of this process. I fully understand the difficulties that past outsourcing experiences may have caused some customers, but I encourage them to have a conversation with us and give us an opportunity to show the level of service we can provide for them.
