Christmas is just around the corner, but Bruce Bogucki and Colton Haney are still working hard to help bring you the best in Autodesk software, and Team Augmentation needs. Let’s learn more about their roles at ATG in this week’s Meet the Team Monday. Bruce Bogucki, Account Executive, ATG West For the last 20 years, Bruce has been involved in outside and inside sales for software and electronics. How long have you worked for CADsoft Consulting/ATG West? January will be 9 months. What does your day-to-day role at ATG look like? It’s busy from sunup to sundown. What do you like most about working for ATG West? As an employee, you are given the tools you need to be successful by management, and given a continuing education. What are the most pressing issues facing your customers? The most pressing issues facing my customers would definitely be having the right tools and knowledge to be successful. You need to have a proven business plan to be successful. How do you help with these issues? I focus greatly on developing a trustworthy relationship with all of my customers, and work to gain their trust. I strive to stay in front of the customers in order to become a one-stop resource for them. What is the key to maintaining a successful relationship as an Autodesk reseller? One of the most important things is being there for the customer when it’s most important. The customer has to be able to trust your recommendations in order to become more productive in their workflow and time to market. How has ATG helped in your career development? Through ATG’s continuing education incentives, I am constantly ahead of the curve. What are you most excited about with ATG acquiring CADsoft? Added potential. ATG has brought an improved business model which will help increase our success rate in finding and closing deals. What kinds of good things do you see in the future for ATG? Continued internal and external growth. It’s important to enjoy what you’re doing and have fun with the job. Colton Haney, Team Augmentation Specialist, ATG Headquarters I graduated from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Systems Engineering emphasizing on Mechanical Engineering. During my junior year of college, I started working as an intern at TME, an engineering design firm headquartered in Central Arkansas, where I was hired full-time upon graduation. At TME, I worked as a Mechanical Designer on many large hospital and higher education projects. I eventually decided that it wasn’t a good fit for me and I joined the team at ATG. How long have you worked for ATG Headquarters? I have worked for ATG for a little over 9 months total now. I’m fairly new to the team and this side of the industry but I feel welcome and have learned a lot in the short time I’ve been here. What is the key to maintaining a successful relationship as an Autodesk reseller? I believe that the key is knowledge. As an Autodesk reseller, we are seen as experts regarding the software we sell. That includes knowing how it works, how to use it, what it should be used for, and even the technical details such as licensing and troubleshooting. Customers put their faith in our knowledge from the time they start discussing purchases with the sales department and they continue to rely on our knowledge long after the purchase has been made. It is through our knowledge that we earn the customer’s trust. How has ATG helped you in your career development? When I joined ATG, I thought that I knew a good amount about the software we use, primarily AutoCAD and Revit. But as I started working on projects, I found that I only knew a little bit about one part of the software. As a Mechanical Designer I really only used the MEP packages and thought that I had become fairly proficient at using them, but when I came to ATG I learned that not only is there a lot to the other packages but there is a lot included in the MEP packages that I wasn’t utilizing. Since joining ATG, my skills and knowledge of different Autodesk software has become more diverse and well rounded. What do you like most about working for ATG? The best part about working for ATG is the people. Everyone here is like a family and come together as a community to make the business successful. Since day one I have felt welcome and I am glad to be here as part of this family. What are you most excited about with ATG acquiring CADsoft? I am most excited for the collective knowledge, experience, and skills that new people bring to the table. I am looking forward to both sharing my knowledge and learning from the new members of the team.
