We’re featuring two of our Account Executives from ATG Headquarters and ATG West in this second week of October’s Meet the Team employee spotlight interviews. Our Meet the Team series is designed to provide a deeper look into our talent here at ATG USA across all different roles, teams, and experience levels. Let’s hear what Alex Campbell and James Foster have to share this week about their ATG journeys. Alex Campbell, Account Executive, ATG Headquarters Alex was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas before moving to Conway, Arkansas to attend the University of Central Arkansas. While at UCA, he received his Business degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. After graduating from UCA, he began his professional career as an Account Executive for Hewlett-Packard covering their Enterprise Server, Storage, and Networking portfolios. How long have you worked for ATG? I started with ATG USA in September of 2015 and just surpassed my two-year mark. What does your day-to-day role at ATG look like? Every day is a little bit different than the one before. I try to carve out time to follow-up with current customers and make sure we are providing them as much value as possible, while also making time to spread the word about ATG to new, prospective customers. What do you like most about working for ATG? After coming from a large, Fortune 50 company, I was ecstatic to get back to a small business feel. We really are like a family at ATG. What are the most pressing issues currently facing your customers? Being in the middle of a technological revolution is pretty exciting. With the latest Autodesk offerings that are currently being rolled out, ATG works hard to make sure our customers are up to speed on the latest trends and technology that we see throughout the industry. Whether it’s drone technology, laser scanning, or the latest updates in Autodesk’s new releases, I work to ensure my customers are aware of what we have to offer and how that can positively impact their business. How do you provide assistance to your customers in a way that is unique to ATG? One thing I pride myself on is being a little but different than the average Account Manager. I want to build an actual relationship with my customers, beyond just providing software solutions and technical services. In my mind, what makes a customer for life is not about the best discount or the current promo being run, but the human element of actually getting to know the person you’re working with. What are you most excited about with ATG acquiring CADsoft? Speed and flexibility. I have had the opportunity to begin to work with the additional technical staff in Arizona and we have been able to become much more flexible and mobile for our customers and to offer speedy answers and solutions. In today’s world, and especially within the AEC industry, time is of the essence and ATG prides ourselves on offering the right solution to match our customer’s timelines. How kind of good things do you see in the future for ATG? The sky is the limit for ATG from my seat. Since joining ATG, our sales and technical teams have grown over 200% and with the recent acquisition of CADsoft, I feel we are on a very strong trajectory to continue to provide detailed solutions and services that continue to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. James Foster, Account Executive, ATG West How long have you worked for ATG West/Previously CADsoft Consulting? Five and a half years. What does your day-to-day role at ATG West look like? Contacting my partners/customers to discuss their business challenges. What do you like most about working for ATG West? People and the culture our top management provides. What are the most pressing issues facing your customers? Finding good people to hire and keep up with work demand. How do you help with these issues? I provide team augmentation and am the CADD Manager on call. How do you provide assistance to your customers in a way that is unique to ATG? By being available around the clock. What is the key to maintaining a successful relationship as an Autodesk reseller? Revenue and getting subscribers. What most excites you about the acquisition of ATG by CADsoft? The opportunity for advancement for my customers and myself career-wise. What kind of good things do you see in the future for ATG? Unlimited opportunities for our customers with the newly expanded service packages being offered. What kind of value can our customers look forward to seeing you bring to ATG from CADsoft Consulting? A customer first approach has always been a big priority for us in the Phoenix office.
