Description: Consistency within a company library is key to assist in the use of the company library. Many of the out-of-the-box templates work fine, but there are things that could be, and consistently are, tweaked. Usually the individual that builds families will tweak the same things every time a new family is started. Well, it’s time to make your own templates. Family building in Revit takes time, planning, and a lot of rules. Creating family templates for consistency and time saving can get things started off on the right foot.
Speaker Biography: Donnia has worked extensively in Revit Architecture. She has experience covers a variety of fields, including architecture; log home design; kitchen design and kitchen equipment Revit families. She has taught college courses and ran an Autodesk Authorized Training Center. She spoke at AUGI CAD Camps, Autodesk Universities and was Speaker of the year in 2000. She has worked with the Speaker Mentor program at AU for years.
