ATG Webinar- Bluebeam Revu Sets: When You Need To Work On The Latest Version Of The PDF
March 31 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CDT
Data management is one of the major concerns with companies in the AEC industry. Making sure that people are not working on multiple iterations of the master file is just one of these concerns. Controlling the master file is one thing, but how do you control PDF’s that were generated from these design files? Sets within Bluebeam Revu will allow users to have a single source for all PDF’s for any given project, regardless of its actual physical storage location. Not only will I be able to open these PDF’s, but I will be able to replace any outdated PDF’s with more current version. As updated versions of the PDF are added to the Set, Bluebeam Revu will compare the new PDF with any of the existing PDF’s currently in the Set and check for a match. If there is a match the existing PDF can be stamped Superseded and replaced with the new PDF. This function helps the AEC industry make sure they are always on the latest version preventing mistakes that can result in delays or rework. This webinar will walk through the process of creating a Set in Bluebeam Revu, Adding PDF’s to the Set and then finally adding revised PDF’s to the set.
1. Understand how to create a Set in Bluebeam Revu
2. Comprehend how Sets are a single source for PDF’s in each project
3. Process the workflow to add newer version of PDF’s to the set
4. Ponder the insurance you have that users are always on the latest version of the PDF.
