Autodesk will be ending the availability of boxed software (DVDs and USBs) on July 7, 2021. After this date, all customers will need to download their software by connecting to the internet.

As part the shift to fully electronic delivery, the latest release of all 2022 product versions, and all future versions, will only be available as electronic downloads. 2021 was the last release of boxed software versions.

Since there will be no direct communications with customers on this update, if your customer relies on boxed software, you’ll want to inform them and make sure they have a plan to download their software through the internet by July 2021.
